--one semester down, one to go. The inspection went very well. Congratulations on making a 97.9. That's the best yet! Each cadet conducted themselves very well. Now onto semester numero dos, let this one be just as good as the first if not better.

All cadets must be at school no later than 8:00 a.m. DO NOT GO TO YOUR FIRST PERIOD CLASS. We will meet in the gym.

Military Ball

Saturday, November 17, 2007. 6:00pm - !0:00pm.

Attire:
Males must wear coat & tie, dress shoes [no boots, timberlands, etc.], dress slacks.
Class A Military uniform with white dress shirt & black bow tie.
NO ADMISSION WITHOUT A TIE.

Females must wear a formal or semi-formal dress.
NO PANTS OR PANTSUITS.
Class A military uniform with a white dress shirt & black neck tab.

Rules&Regulations:
-Males must wear their tie for the duration of the ball.
-Shoes must be worn at all times.
-No bedroom shoes.
-All school policies still apply.
-Cadets will be responsible for their date & their behavior.
-No dates above the age of 19 will be permitted.
-Dates must be of the opposite sex.
-Freshman from junior highs are not permitted dates.
-No vulgar dancing.

VETERANS' DAY

VETERANS' DAY HOLIDAY - 11/11

We will be having our annual Veteran's Day Parade on Saturday, November 10th. Please come out and support the Battalion. The Veteran's Day Parade is held in honor of veteran's who have served for our country.

Our JROTC Colorguard will be concluding this memorable holiday with an assembly on November 12th at the Spartanburg High School gym.

Be at Spartanburg High School no LATER than 6AM
The Bus leaves at 6:30AM
The Competition should end around 10 till 11
